Nigel Traill is a director, cameraman, editor, and writer. The Music In Me is the first feature length documentary Nigel has directed, shot and edited.

Nigel has also directed, shot, wrote and co-produced two four-part series for television. Going Public (2001) followed the disastrous attempt of a group of Apple Computer retailers to merge their companies and list on the Australian Stock Exchange. Selling Success (2004) featured four distinctly different ‘success’ gurus, and some of the students hoping to turn their lives around.

Nigel worked as an editor and producer at 60 Minutes Australia, a weekly current affairs and magazine programme, for twelve years (1987-1999). During his time there, he shot, wrote, and edited a one-hour documentary, The Ride of Our Lives (1996), following Nigel and his wife on a four-month bicycle journey through the Indonesian Archipelago.
