Biggest Afternoon Tea

More than 200 family members and friends gathered to honour the memory of Rosemary Marriott AM and celebrate the Merry Makers’ 30th Anniversary at Asquith Rugby League Club, Waitara, on Sunday 25th May. This very happy and successful occasion raised $1,800 for cancer research. Highlight for many was the screening of the 1980s documentary Rosemary and Time and other archival footage followed by an impromptu performance by the Merries. A display of memorabilia included photos, newspaper articles and numerous awards won over the years.

Special thanks to Asquith Rugby League Club for their hospitality and ongoing support which is greatly appreciated by all the Merry Makers.
